The Application Administrator is responsible for managing the deployment of applications across development, staging, and production environments, ensuring each deployment is properly configured to meet both business and technical requirements. They maintain version control and implement rollback procedures to safeguard system stability during updates. The administrator monitors application performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime. Handles routine maintenance tasks such as applying patches, updates, and upgrades to keep applications secure and up to date.
The Data Center Shift Supervisor serves as the designated Shift Lead responsible for ensuring BanNet’s 24/7 data center reliability during assigned shifts. Reporting to the DCO Officer, the Supervisor coordinates and guides Specialists in performing critical system monitoring, settlement processing, and batch job verification. The role manages real-time incident response and escalation, enforces operational and security standards, and supports UAT and contingency testing. Through effective shift-level leadership, the Supervisor ensures SLA compliance, minimizes operational risks, and delivers accurate and timely communication to stakeholders.
The Head of Product Management Department (PMD) involves driving the business strategies of the company and managing the implementation and performance of BancNet products throughout their lifecycle ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and corporate strategies.
Key responsibilities include fostering collaboration among various stakeholders, such as division and department heads, network partners, BanNet members and participants, external vendors, regulatory bodies, and other relevant organizations (e.g., Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, PPMI, BAP) which is essential in the delivery and management of products and services. The PMD Head shall also be responsible for the strategy, roadmap and feature definition of a product line.

Reporting to the Network Head and working under the guidance of the Network Admin Lead, this role focuses on technical execution-implementing network changes, monitoring operations, troubleshooting incidents, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Product Manager ensures the effective development, enhancement, and performance of assigned products and services within BancNet’s payments ecosystem. The role manages the product lifecycle from planning to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, compliance standards, and market needs. It coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely, high-quality, and compliant payment solutions that strengthen BancNet’s market position.
The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing participant relationships and driving engagement across all service touchpoints. As the primary contact within the company, the Relationship Manager ensures that participant issues and requests are addressed promptly and effectively, either directly or through coordination with relevant BanNet units. This role oversees participant onboarding and the implementation of services, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Relationship Managers are expected to collaborate closely with internal teams and vendors to uphold service quality, responsiveness, and participant satisfaction.
The role demands a strategic blend of technical expertise and leadership across the full lifecycle of enterprise systems. This dual capacity involves not only designing scalable, secure, and compliant system architectures but also leading application development efforts that align with organizational goals. The position requires rigorous IT project management practices to ensure timely delivery, scope control, and stakeholder alignment, while also overseeing resource allocation to optimize team productivity and skill utilization. IT Change Management is integral to the role, ensuring that all system modifications-whether in code, infrastructure, or configuration-are properly assessed, approved, documented, and communicated to minimize disruption and maintain operational stability.
The role also involves robust IT vendor management, including contract oversight, performance evaluation, and ensuring third-party solutions meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Compliance and governance are upheld through adherence to frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001 or NIST and standards like OWASP Top Ten, Application Security Verification Standard and Software Assurance Maturity Model, embedding controls and auditability into system design and development workflows. The Systems Engineer is responsible for the development of simple to complex systems; preparation of required documentation; coding and development of program modules; unit, module, system testing including test data preparation and documentation.
The Systems Engineer is also expected to estimate and forecast “build” effort requirements, be aware of and meet deadlines and/or schedules, identify and plan for risks, analyze the impact of work to be done against other systems, and ensure that the work being done is in accordance with the needs of the user.
The Systems Engineer is expected to apply quality standards, best practices, and secure standards to his work always. It is expected that basic considerations have been applied to all outputs: exception handling, security, audit and system logs for troubleshooting, system administration and maintenance, handling, and management of all or most of the common user errors, operational requirements, and debug facility for easier problem/issue investigation.
Responsible for organizing, directing, and ensuring the delivery of on-time, within scope, on-budget, and quality development and maintenance services to other departments and partner institutions for managed application systems under the section’s responsibility.
