ATM cardholders of Allied Bank, Bank of Commerce, EastWest Bank and PSBank can now shop and pay online

Customers of Allied Bank, Bank of Commerce, EastWest Bank, and PSBank can now enjoy the convenience of paying for their purchases on Internet sites using their ATM/debit cards anytime and anywhere. This was made possible by the payment gateway infrastructure of BancNet, the country’s largest electronic banking network, of which these banks are members.

BancNet-member cardholders can pay from their ATM accounts at any of several accredited online merchant sites that include Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific Air for flight booking, Ensogo for hotel booking and other purchases and Victory Liner for bus trip booking. They can also pay tuition fees at the websites of Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle-College of St. Benilde and Mapua Institute of Technology using their ATM/debit card.

Account enrolment is not required and there is no transaction fee for online payments. Transactions are made secure by the use of the cardholder’s encrypted secret personal identification number (PIN) and several other layers of security mechanisms.

Allied Bank has 800,000 ATM cardholders, Bank of Commerce has over 275,000, EastWest Bank has over 370,000 ATM/debit cardholders, and PSBank more than 235,000.
