For the second year in a row, BancNet has been certified as a great place to work by the global authority on workplace culture, Great Place To WorkTM (GPTW). This was announced by GPTW on August 1, 2025, after a Trust Index survey conducted in July showed that 92% percent of BancNet employees said that it is a great place to work. The prestigious award was based entirely on what current employees said about their experience working at BancNet.
GPTW’s workplace certification is based on its proprietary model and platform, and its evaluation criteria are related to trust, employee experience, leadership behavior, and culture. Through its surveys, the US-based workplace culture authority has gathered deep insights into what truly makes a workplace great. It has built an unparalleled database of more than 100 million employees in 150 countries for benchmarking.
“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work. She emphasizes that Certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture.
Being recognized for the second time in a row confirms the positive, nurturing, and inclusive work environment that BancNet has built and consistently maintained. “It is a meaningful acknowledgment of our commitment to creating a workplace where people thrive,” says BancNet CEO Emmie Reyes.

According to GPTW research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits and have a fair chance at promotion.
BancNet is the country’s electronic payments network that interconnects over 27,000 ATMs and more than 607,000 point-of-sale payment terminals and non-ATM devices of its 110 members that include banks, e-money issuers, and independent ATM deployers. Moreover, BancNet is the officially designated clearing switch operator of the country’s
real-time payment system, InstaPay. As such, it makes the mobile banking apps and QR codes of partner banks and e-wallets interoperable for fast, easy, and convenient sending of money, payment of bills to over 1,600 billing companies, payment of goods and services at about 200,000 business establishments online or on-site and topping up of e-wallets.
