BancNet, the country’s largest consortium recently inaugurated the first of its own ATMs It is located at Finman Rural Bank in Caniogan, Pasig, an area with limited ATMs. This is in line with BancNet’s goal to bring electronic banking closer to cardholders, complementing its member banks’ ATM networks. Soon, more BancNet ATMs will be available in other areas less served by banks.
Aside from the traditional cash withdrawal service, the ATM provides a wide range of services including balance inquiry, checkbook reorder, statement request, fund transfers, payment of bills, and prepaid phone reloading.
It is also interconnected with other ATM networks in the country – Expressnet and Megalink and with global ATM and POS networks of Diners Club, Discover Card, JCB, MasterCard and Union Pay.
