On July 15, 2011, BANCNET, the largest ATM consortium in the country celebrated its 21st anniversary at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati. The affair was graced by top executives of the banking industry including the governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Honorable Amando Tetangco, Jr. and the deputy governor, Honorable Nestor Espenilla, Jr.
BancNet marked its anniversary with a donation of computers and printers to the school established by CNN Hero of the Year 2009 Efren Penaflorida for the street children of Cavite.
