AMA BANK, the financial arm of the AMA Group of Companies, has joined BancNet through ECTK Solutions (ESI) bring the total membership to 63. Based in Mandaluyong City, AMA Bank has 10 branches strategically located across the country.
At the membership signing ceremony recently, BancNet chairman Ricardo R. Chua welcomed the bank to the consortium. “The clients of AMA Bank will automatically have access to more than 4,800 ATMs and to BancNet’s entire suite of electronic banking services”, he said.
Joining BancNet offers access to such electronic payment services such as payment of purchases with the use of an ATM card at 20,000 establishments nationwide and at online stores. ATM cardholders of its member banks are also able to pay their utility, credit card, phone, cable and other bills through any BancNet member ATM or at www.bancnetonline.com. Bank clients can also pay their taxes and SSS contributions through this gateway as BancNet is the only ATM consortium accredited by the BIR for its Electronic Filing and Payment System (EFPS) and by SSS as collection partner.
ESI is a provider of technology and cash management services in the country that is now a BancNet-affiliated switch service provider.
