Effective August 1, 2016, Philhealth is mandating all formal economy employers to submit their remittance reports through the Electronic Premium Remittance System (EPRS). The EPRS is Philhealth’s online platform where employers can electronically prepare and submit their remittance reports. Employers are urged to register in this facility.
In this light, the uploading of RF1 files through e-Gov will no longer be available starting August 1, 2016. BancNet is currently working on an interface that will enable e-Gov to accept payment transactions from EPRS. Acceptance of Philhealth payments from EPRS through e-Gov will be available by August 15, 2016.
If you need to remit from August 1 to 14, 2016, you may do so by generating your Statement of Premium Account (SPA) from EPRS and paying Over-The- Counter (OTC) at banks accredited by Philhealth.
