BancNet further strengthened its presence in the countryside as it welcomed three new members that were brought on board by affiliate switch network ECTK Solutions namely- the pride of Pateros, First Macro Bank; Calabarzon’s biggest thrift bank, Luzon Development Bank and Pampanga-based Saviour Rural Bank.
BancNet, the largest ATM network in the country, has taken a role in empowering banks in the countryside by connecting to its network rural banks that meet its membership criteria.

First Macro Bank, formerly Rural Bank of Pateros, started with one branch in Pateros and eventually expanded to nine branches and two extension offices covering Rizal, Cavite and Metro Manila. The 50-year old bank is considered as one of the top rural banks in the country.
Luzon Development Bank is among the strongest financial institutions operating in the Calabarzon area. It has 35 branches in Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Manila, Nueva Ecija and Quezon Province. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas recently approved the opening of five new branches and the offering of new services such as ATM banking and online banking.
Pampanga-based Saviour Rural Bank is engaged in agricultural financing for small farmers. It currently has three branches in Lubao, San Fernando and Floridablanca and two ATMs.
