BancNet’s shareholders recently elected the company’s board of directors for the term 2019-2020. Re-elected were: Edwin R. Bautista, president and CEO of Union Bank; Gil A. Buenaventura, president and CEO of RCBC; Cezar P. Consing, president and CEO of BPI; Antonio C. Moncupa, Jr., vice chairman and CEO of East West Bank; Richard S. So, EVP of Metrobank; Nestor V. Tan, president and CEO of BDO; William C. Whang, president of China Bank; and Jose Arnulfo A. Veloso, president and CEO of PNB. Newly elected to the 15-man board were: Cecilia C. Borromeo, president and CEO of Land Bank; Camille M. Canullas, SVP and CIO of Veterans Bank; Emmanuel G. Herbosa, president and CEO of DBP; Kathleen Hernandez, transaction banking director of Standard Chartered Bank; Alan L. Matutina, president of Equicom Savings Bank; Cecilio D. San Pedro, president and CEO of Sterling Bank; and Daniel U. Yu, EVP of Security Bank.
During their organizational meeting that followed, the members of the board re-elected Nestor V.Tan as board chairman, Cezar P. Consing as president, Aristeo Zafra, Jr. as EVP and CEO, Jose Arnulfo A. Veloso as treasurer, Marie Fe Liza S. Jayme as assistant treasurer, Agnes H. Maranan as corporate secretary, and Elmarie S. Reyes as assistant corporate secretary.
The Board also appointed the following members of the Operations Committee: Ma.
