Bachelor of Electronics Engineering graduate batch 2025, Stephen David, recently paid a courtesy visit to BancNet Chief Executive Officer, Elmarie Reyes. Stephen was one of the recipients of the electronic payment network’s college scholarship grant 4 years ago. This year, he graduated with a cum laude distinction from Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC) in Mandaluyong City.
“Our partnership with DBTC is a testament to our advocacy of making a difference in the lives of the youth through access to education”, Ms. Reyes said to the young David and his mother who accompanied the latter on his visit.
Stephen, son of a single mother, took up Electronics Engineering to follow the footsteps of his father who passed away ten years ago.
Over the years, BancNet has helped Filipino learners through various forms of assistance, from donation of digital tools and school supplies, construction of a school building in war-ravaged Marawi City, and grant of short-course and 4-year college scholarships to financially challenged students. The company has also adopted an annual Brigada Eskwela program in line with its education advocacy.
