BancNet honored its top 10 business partners at awards rites on the occasion of its 20th Anniversary recently.
Awarded for generating the highest amount of debit sales from BancNet cardholders in 2009 were:
1st place: SM Retail Group
2nd place: Robinsons Retail Group
3rd place: Puregold Price Club
4th place: Rustan’s Supercenters, Inc.
5th place: East Bay Resort
These merchants bested 560 other business establishments that accept BancNet ATM cards for payment of goods and services through payment terminals at their cashiers’ counters. Currently, there are over 12,700 terminals at 3,200 merchant sites nationwide.
Cited for the highest volume of bills payment transactions made by BancNet cardholders in 2009 were:
1st place: Citibank Credit Cards
2nd place: HSBC Credit Cards
3rd place: Globe Telecom
4th place: PLDT
5th place: Meralco
There are 79 companies whose billings can be paid by BancNet cardholders through BancNet’s electronic channels- the ATM, BancNet Online, mobile phones, and payment terminals. These companies range from credit card issuers, utilities and telcos to insurance companies and schools.
